Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Caregiver to provide nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care for young children in our early childhood education setting. In this role, you will create a safe, stimulating environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and social-emotional development. Duties Supervise and ensure the safety of toddlers during play, learning activities, meals, and nap times. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, motor, and social skills aligned with childhood development principles. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence. Follow all mandated reporting laws and health guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards. Assist with diapering, potty training, feeding, and comforting children as needed to support their emotional well-being. Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that foster early childhood development and classroom management. Skills Proven experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings. Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required. Food handler's permit required. Strong classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Ability to follow daycare center policies, childhood development guidelines, and mandated reporting laws. Experience in behavior management techniques tailored for toddlers. Knowledge of toddler care routines and preschool curriculum planning.
