This vital role involves nurturing, supervising, and engaging with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to childhood development, safety, and fostering a positive environment. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the well-being and growth of those in your care while maintaining open communication with parents and guardians. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development aligned with early childhood education principles Ensure the safety of children at all times by following mandated reporting laws and applying proper behavior management techniques Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with individual needs Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise Support children's emotional well-being by creating a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and confidence Maintain a clean, organized space conducive to safe play and learning activities Requirements Proven experience working with children across various settings such as babysitting, nannying, childcare centers or youth programs Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education best practices Ability to care for infants through elementary school-age children with patience and enthusiasm Valid certifications in First Aid and CPR; familiarity with mandated reporting laws is essential Strong activity planning skills tailored to different age groups including toddlers and preschoolers Excellent child supervision skills combined with effective behavior management strategies Effective communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Experience working specifically with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Join our team to inspire growth, ensure safety, and create joyful experiences for children while supporting their families!
