Job description:
Administers bedside or personal care, including ambulation and personal hygiene assistance.
Prepares and maintains records of client progress and services performed.
Reports changes in client condition to a manager or supervisor.
Performs housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, and running errands.
Cares for individuals or families during incapacitation, family disruption, or convalescence.
Provides companionship, personal care, and lifestyle adjustment support.
Performs healthcare-related tasks such as monitoring vital signs and medication under the direction of nurses or physiotherapists.
Plans, shops for, and prepares nutritious meals, or assists families with meal planning and preparation.
Academic Requirements:
No minimum education requirement.
Experience Requirements:
Three months of relevant experience required.
Additional Requirements:
Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) to communicate with patients.
Salary:
$11.00 - $14.00 per hour.
Background Requirements:
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
