We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Personal Attendant (PAS) to provide in-home assistance to a client in San Marcos, TX 78666 . The Personal Attendant will assist the client with daily activities and personal care according to the client's authorized service plan. This is a direct-care position requiring reliability, professionalism, patience, and respect for the client's privacy and independence. Responsibilities Assist the client with activities of daily living (ADLs) as authorized Provide personal care and hygiene assistance as needed Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as appropriate Assist with dressing, grooming, and other routine personal-care activities Provide assistance with meal preparation and other basic household tasks related to the client's care Follow the client's authorized service plan and care instructions Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment Accurately document services provided and required visit information Communicate appropriately with the supervising staff regarding changes in the client's condition or needs Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times Qualifications Previous experience in personal care, caregiving, home health, or direct patient care preferred Reliable transportation to the client's home Dependable and punctual Ability to communicate effectively and professionally Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including assisting with mobility and personal-care activities as applicable Must be able to successfully complete required employment screening and onboarding requirements HHA/PAS or caregiver experience is preferred but not required , depending on applicable program requirements
