Pay Rate:

PM Job Summary:
Ride school buses and assist the bus driver to ensure the safe, orderly, and comfortable transportation of students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Management Assist students on and off the bus, including lifting, carrying, and properly securing students with special needs.
- Supervise boarding, exiting, and street crossing using established safety procedures; escort students into school buildings.
- Adapt to individual medical, physical, communicative, and emotional needs of students.
- Manage student behavior, enforce bus safety rules, and report disciplinary issues to administrators in a timely manner.
- Communicate with parents and teachers regarding student behavior while on the bus. Safety & Operations Correctly utilize safety belts, safety vests, car seats, and adaptive equipment.
- emergency procedures (including bus evacuation) and assist the driver with basic first aid if necessary.

•and post-trip bus inspections and keep the bus clean.
Complete and maintain accurate route sheets, non-notification forms, and required documentation.
