Nanny / Family Assistant Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and reliable Nanny/Family Assistant to provide exceptional support within our private home setting. This long-term, stable position is ideal for an experienced candidate with a strong background in raising children and managing daily household needs. Because our children are 13 and 14 years old, this is an assistant and management role rather than traditional infant or toddler care. We need someone who excels at cooking delicious, healthy meals, takes initiative with errands and light housekeeping, and can serve as a dependable, punctual partner in our daily routine.

Responsibilities Meal Preparation:

Plan and prepare exceptional, high-quality daily meals for the family, utilizing your strong cooking skills.

Transportation & Errands:

Provide safe personal transportation for school drop-offs/pickups, extracurricular activities, and complete various family errands during times when direct support for the kids is not needed.

Daily Schedule & Routine:

Manage a consistent schedule spanning morning support and afternoon/evening engagement. Complete any assigned household tasks or errands before school dismissal.

Household Support:

Maintain residential cleanliness through regular light housekeeping, focusing on family and shared living spaces, organization, and household management.

Communication:

Maintain clear, proactive communication with parents regarding daily logistics, schedules, and family needs.

Schedule Regular Hours:

Morning:

6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Afternoon/Evening:

2:00 p.m. until dinner time (approx. 6:00 p.m.) on most days.

Additional Hours:

Flexibility for occasional date nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications Experience:

Proven long-term experience in caregiving, managing a household, or raising children, with a professional and reliable track record.

Culinary Skills:

Exceptional cooking abilities with a proven knack for preparing healthy, delicious meals.

Organization & Punctuality:

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strictly punctual.

Transportation:

Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation for safe driving and local errands.

Demeanor:

A compassionate, proactive, and patient approach, combined with the maturity to mentor and support teenagers.

Pay:
