Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Plan and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, learning, and social skills. Ensure child safety by adhering to all mandated reporting laws, behavior management strategies, and health protocols such as first aid and CPR. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to update them on their child's progress, activities, and any concerns. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices tailored to each child's needs. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care to foster inclusion and independence. Maintain a clean, safe environment that encourages exploration while following all safety guidelines. Requirements Prior experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school children. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play and interaction.
