Job Description Solstice RTC is a small, privately owned residential treatment center in Layton, UT. We serve adolescent females ages 13-18, privately placed with us by their parents for emotional/mental health disorders. Solstice has current openings for the job position of Graveyard Mentor. We have full-time and part-time positions. Mentors supervise and act as role models for residents in the program. They ensure the provision of a physically and emotionally safe environment, adhering to all programmatic, schedules, policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Shifts are 11pm-7am. • Actively involved in the supervision and safety of residents
• Role model positive relationships, while maintaining professional boundaries
• Assist in the basic chores and cleaning of facility Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Strong work ethic and being a self-starter required.
• Ability to maintain healthy professional boundaries.
• Willing to learn and apply new skills.
• Must be emotionally mature enough to maintain composure and good judgment in the face of highly stressful interactions.
• Able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screening. Experience and Education
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years working with youth
• Prefer RTC work experience
• CPR and First Aid Certification, or willing to obtain certification
