Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain cleanliness of the client's living space through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and responses to treatments or activities Follow detailed care plans developed by healthcare professionals, ensuring personalized support for each individual Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Assist with transportation to medical appointments or community activities as needed Support residents in specialized care areas such as dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, or hospice care Skills Proven experience working in assisted living, home health, nursing homes, or group home settings Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently in emergency situations Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in health or behavior promptly Experience with medication administration and vital signs monitoring Familiarity with care plans tailored for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia-related conditions Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting residents with mobility challenges Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to caregiving responsibilities Join us in providing compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
