Job Summary We are seeking energetic and caring Part-Time Caregivers to join our team in Barboursville, VA. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to clients with diverse needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns promptly. Support clients with medication reminders and administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal cleanup. Provide transportation for appointments, errands, or social activities to promote community engagement. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry. Use proper manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safety for both client and caregiver. Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly valued. Knowledge of patient observation, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), and neurodevelopmental disorders is preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training in HIPAA compliance is essential. Ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care with compassion and professionalism. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation of care activities. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, patient transfers, manual handling, and assist with mobility needs.
