Job Overview We are seeking energetic and compassionate caregivers to join our team in Haymarket for small shifts that make a meaningful difference. This role offers an opportunity to provide vital support to clients with a variety of needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or injury. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Help clients with personal transportation for appointments or errands using safe transfer methods like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer techniques Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and organizing Document care activities accurately in compliance with HIPAA standards and client care plans Skills Proven experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques including vital signs and symptom observation Skilled in assisting with ADLs, manual handling, and patient transfer methods including Hoyer lifts Familiarity with medication administration, care plans, and HIPAA compliance Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently in emergency situations Experience in home health, hospice care, senior care, or long-term care environments preferred Strong communication skills for effectively engaging with clients, families, and team members Join us in Haymarket to provide heartfelt caregiving that truly transforms lives!
