We specialize in providing compassionate care for elderly clients, individuals with disabilities, and those in need of respite or companionship services. Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dependable In-Home Caregiver to deliver personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, home health services, and supporting individuals with diverse needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. Duties Provide direct support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance. Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in health status to inform care plans. Assist with medication administration following prescribed guidelines while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and accommodating special dietary requirements. Utilize patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and sanitation. Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques. Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care. Qualifications Prior experience working as a caregiver in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings. Knowledge of patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications safely. Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly desirable. Familiarity with care plans, HIPAA regulations, and documentation standards for patient records. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in hospice or geriatrics is a plus. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration; compassionate attitude essential.
