This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and health monitoring. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to promoting dignity and independence for those they serve. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with rotating weekends to ensure comprehensive coverage and support. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Support medication administration following proper procedures and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of resident spaces Support residents during transfers using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques Document care activities accurately in care plans and communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status or concerns Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and neurodevelopmental disorders enhances your ability to provide specialized support Experience with patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and first aid/CPR certification is essential Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and respectful care practices Ability to assist with ADLs and perform manual handling safely; heavy lifting may be required Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Demonstrated understanding of resident's rights and person-centered care principles Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is a plus Must have transportation Comfortable with Bedbound clients Join us in delivering compassionate care that enriches lives!
