Caregiver/PCA Job description:

TITLE:

Elderly Care Specialist (In-Home Caregiver) Care With Love is looking for compassionate, dependable, and caring individuals to join our team as Elderly Care Specialists . As an Elderly Care Specialist, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical care to older adults in the comfort of their own homes, helping them remain safe, independent, and comfortable while maintaining their dignity and quality of life. Responsibilities Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene. Help with mobility, transfers, walking, and fall prevention. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed. Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and tidying living areas. Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless authorized). Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and transportation to appointments or activities. Observe changes in a client's physical or emotional condition and report concerns promptly. Encourage social interaction, mental engagement, and recreational activities. Maintain accurate visit notes and communicate effectively with the Care With Love office. Deliver care with patience, respect, compassion, and professionalism at every visit. Qualifications Compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance. Ability to pass required background screenings. Ability to lift, assist, and transfer clients safely when necessary. Previous caregiving, CNA, PCA, HHA, DSP, or healthcare experience is preferred but not always required.
