Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team in providing exceptional support and care to residents in a senior living or long-term care environment. As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in enhancing residents' quality of life by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering a warm, respectful atmosphere. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health needs are met Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, using specialized techniques and patience Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to transfer residents with mobility challenges Administer medications following proper protocols and document all medication-related activities accurately Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control standards Follow resident's rights policies, ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect are upheld at all times Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes preferred Knowledge of dementia care, memory care, and behavioral management strategies Experience with medication administration and vital signs monitoring required Background in long-term care or home & community care settings highly desirable Familiarity with safe patient lifting practices, Hoyer lifts, and manual handling techniques Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Certification in CPR and First Aid is required or willing to obtain upon hire Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks as needed Join us as a Care Partner to provide heartfelt support that empowers residents to live comfortably, safely, and happily.
