Job Description

Are you looking for a fulfilling career? If so, being a Direct Support Professional (DSP) may be the position for you! As a DSP you will use your caregiving and people skills to support individuals living with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals. You can get paid to take someone to the park while making a difference in their life! Hourly rate starting at $17.00 per hour. Full-Time Schedule 30 hours/week: Thursday - Saturday 10pm-8am at group home located in Woodbridge, VA 22191. Why The Arc of Greater Prince William/INSIGHT, Inc? We want to hear from you if you have: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges, or transferrable skills that relate to serving this population (such as experience in education, caregiving, health care, other human services or customer service); Ability to pass criminal background check Ability to pass required trainings A Valid driver's license, minimum three-year acceptable driving record and reliable transportation; A High school diploma or GED; Flexibility, positive attitude, Working Conditions Work in residential group homes, day programs, and in the community Transport individuals using agency provided van Ability to lift 50 pounds Full-Time Schedule 30 hours/week: Thursday - Saturday 10pm-8am at group home located in Woodbridge, VA 22191.
