Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to join our team across all shifts. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized memory or dementia care. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a safe, engaging, and comfortable environment where clients can thrive. All positions are paid, including internships. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, medication administration, and overall well-being Support residents with mobility using patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain accurate care plans, document patient progress, and communicate effectively with team members about each resident's needs Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance residents' quality of life Ensure a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or dementia care such as Alzheimer's or memory care Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy Proficiency in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications safely Familiarity with assisted living, nursing home, home health, hospice care, or geriatrics settings Ability to assist with manual handling techniques including heavy lifting and patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Certification in CPR and First Aid; experience with patient personal care assistance is preferred Knowledge of care plans, medication management, and documentation standards in home & community care environments Join us in delivering exceptional caregiving services that truly make a difference!
