Duties Provide attentive supervision to residents, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the day. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Support residents with meal preparation, hydration, and light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment. Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and ensure proper use of resident's equipment for mobility assistance. Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction during overnight hours. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous. Experience with care plans development and implementation ensures personalized resident support. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties is essential.
