Ensure the safety of children by adhering to childhood development best practices, behavior management strategies, and mandated reporting laws. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, maintaining up-to-date certifications. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities. Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times in accordance with individual needs. Assist individuals with disabilities by providing personalized caregiving tailored to their specific requirements. Skills Experience working with children across different age groups, elementary school-age children. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Proven ability to plan engaging activities suitable for young children and youth programs. Excellent child supervision skills combined with effective behavior management techniques. Certified in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Effective communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Classroom or daycare experience demonstrating reliable caregiving practices.
