Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to join our team in a part-time role supporting young people in a safe, structured, and encouraging environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, promoting healthy development, and contributing to a team focused on care, consistency, and respect. Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and support to youth in a residential setting. Build positive, professional relationships that encourage trust, accountability, and personal growth. Assist with daily routines, activities, meals, transportation, and other program needs as assigned. Support youth in developing social, emotional, and life skills through guidance and modeling. Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment at all times. Monitor behavior, respond appropriately to concerns, and de-escalate situations using approved techniques. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other professionals to support individualized care plans. Follow all agency policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, and safety protocols. Qualifications Experience working with youth, adolescents, or vulnerable populations is preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive in challenging situations. Dependable, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Basic documentation skills. Mandated Reporters Training Must be able to pass any required background checks and meet applicable licensing or training requirements. Preferred Attributes Experience with trauma-informed care or behavior support practices. Familiarity with youth development, mentoring, or residential care environments.
