Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. A loving family in Hatley is seeking a reliable, energetic, and engaging respite care provider to support their young daughter. This role involves providing one-on-one supervision, ensuring her safety, and helping her participate in fun, age-appropriate activities at home and within the local community. She is a fun-loving young toddler with autism who experiences some speech and fine motor delays. She is full of energy and enjoys exploring the world around her. She loves Bluey, dinosaurs, animals of all kinds, figurines, sensory play, and being VERY active. She has occasional meltdowns, as any young toddler does, but she thrives with individualized attention, engaging activities, and caregivers who are patient, playful, and creative. The ideal candidate is someone who can build a genuine connection with her, understand her communication style, occasional behaviors, and proactively keep her engaged throughout the day while addressing concerns as they arise.

Hatley, WI (Family Residence + Some Community Outings/Transportation)

Compensation :

$10.60/hour

Schedule :

Flexible Scheduling in Advance - Leaning on Weekends and some shorter early Weekdays

• 2-3Hr shifts to start. Opportunity for growth! Key Responsibilities
• Provide attentive one-on-one supervision in the family home and community settings.
• Ensure her safety at all times.
• Engage her in active play and sensory activities.
• Redirect and distract when needed to help maintain a positive environment.
• Support social interaction and participation in activities.
• Assist with maintaining routines and transitions.
• Keep her actively engaged throughout the shift. Ideal Candidate
• Is dependable and very patient.
• Is understanding of and able to redirect behaviors as they arise.
• Can stay active and engaged throughout the shift.
• Is comfortable providing constant 1:1 safety supervision.
• Enjoys working with children with disabilities.
• Has a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Can read a child's needs and respond appropriately.
• Loves to play, interact, and have fun.
• Values building meaningful relationships with the children they support. Requirements
• MUST successfully pass a caregiver/criminal background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation valid driver's license.
• Must be pet friendly and comfortable working in the family home.
• Experience working closely with young children.
