Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Community-Based Residential Facility Caregiver, where your compassion and hands-on support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care within a residential setting, fostering a safe, nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being. Your energy and commitment will help residents thrive physically, emotionally, and socially, creating a warm community where everyone feels valued and supported. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety procedures Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or cognitive disabilities, including memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers and prevent injury Prepare nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and families Engage residents in social activities and group outings to promote socialization and community involvement Follow safe patient lifting practices and adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for all Requirements Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home, or residential care settings, especially with seniors or individuals with disabilities Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, geriatrics, and memory care best practices Ability to perform first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures confidently Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and health documentation standards Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is highly preferred Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities related to client outings or appointments Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely throughout shifts Strong communication skills for effective client support and team collaboration Join us in creating a compassionate community where every resident receives respectful, personalized care.
