Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Manager (AM) Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional support and care to individuals with diverse needs. Responsibilities Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor residents' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, reporting findings accurately and promptly Assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols, performing regular cleaning, and ensuring safety measures are in place Document resident care activities thoroughly, including progress notes, incident reports, and updates to care plans Skills Proven experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments with individuals who have developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or memory care practices Certified in CPR and First Aid; experience with hospice or home health care is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered support and safety Join us in making a meaningful difference every day!
