Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in assisted living facilities. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and document patient observations, vital signs, and overall health status Administer medications following prescribed care plans and HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption Support residents with memory care needs including Alzheimer's and dementia care through specialized techniques Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and manage heavy lifting safely when required Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being Follow established care plans and protocols for patient safety and comfort Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and adherence to regulations such as HIPAA Qualifications Previous experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care preferred Certifications such as First Aid and CPR are highly desirable Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and dementia or Alzheimer's care preferred Ability to work compassionately with seniors and individuals with disabilities in various settings Strong observational skills for patient safety and health monitoring Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with mobility support devices like Hoyer lifts Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude towards residents' well-being Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information This position is ideal for caring individuals committed to providing high-quality support in a respectful and professional manner.
