Care Giver
Job Description
Heart To Heart AFH is a 4 Bed AFH In Racine WI. We provide total care services to our residents by assisting them with Activities of Daily Living such as self-care, medication administering, clothing/bathing, food/meal prep, leisure time/social companionship, travel to and from appointments as needed, completing accurate documentation for shift rotating communication, personal and social adjustment skills in a home environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist individuals with developing and maintaining daily living skills
- Provide support and companionship
- Assist with housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Experience working with individuals with autism or dementia is a plus
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when providing care for individuals with diverse needs
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Attention to detail in documenting client information and following care plans
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$14.00- $15.
