8 hour shift Evening shift Holidays Rotating weekends We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team. As a Medication Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing senior care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This position requires strong patient care skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to accurately document medical information.Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members regarding patient care
- Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
Skills:
- Medication Administration Certification Required
- Experience in senior care or patient care settings CBRF
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Epic)
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
