Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, memory care, and home & community care environments. Prior experience in long-term care, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Duties Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols Monitor vital signs and report any health concerns to medical professionals Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's through specialized memory care techniques Operate EMR systems to document care activities accurately Prepare meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely during transfers Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping and sanitation tasks Support residents' emotional well-being through companionship, social engagement, and behavior management strategies Drive residents to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safety at all times Follow safety procedures including first aid protocols and emergency response plans Experience Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's, dementia, and memory care best practices Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges is advantageous Familiarity with medication administration and vital signs monitoring is desirable Prior use of EMR systems or electronic health records is a plus Hands-on caregiving experience in home & community care or personal care homes is beneficial Valid driver's license for transportation duties preferred but not required Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided for qualified candidates This position is ideal for caring individuals eager to provide compassionate support while developing their skills within a professional healthcare environment.
