Job Description

Elderly Caregiver Job Summary I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elderly Caregiver to provide high-quality personal care and support to a senior male with ALS. You will assist with daily activities, ensure safety, and be able to promote a comfortable and respectful environment. Must pass fingerprint and background check. Responsibilities Assist patients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating. Be able to cook and feed snacks. Provide attentive senior care, including companionship and emotional support. Support patient transfer methods safely using appropriate techniques and equipment. Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns to family. Maintain cleanliness of the living environment and assist with light housekeeping. Follow care plans and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Prior experience in elderly or personal caregiving is preferred. Knowledge of patient transfer methods and safe handling techniques. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring. Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and patience. Ability to handle physical tasks involved in caregiving duties. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
Pay:
$11.25 - $13.00 per hour
