Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and nurturing care to children and individuals with diverse needs. Responsibilities Supervise children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children, ensuring their safety at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, learning, and fun. Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting newborns. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual needs and fostering inclusive participation. Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding daily progress, behavior, and any concerns. Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations following mandated reporting laws. Manage behavior with positive reinforcement techniques while promoting social skills and emotional regulation. Assist with classroom or daycare routines such as meal times, nap schedules, and activity transitions. Ensure compliance with early childhood education standards and safety regulations during all caregiving activities. Experience Prior experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Demonstrated experience in caregiving roles such as babysitting, nannying, daycare work or youth programs teaching. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Familiarity with behavior management strategies suitable for young children. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred. Classroom or daycare experience that includes activity planning and child supervision is advantageous.
