This position works directly with clients and partner agencies to ensure efficient access to programs offered through San Francisco Peninsula Energy Services and Central Coast Energy Services (CCES). We are looking for compassionate, detail-oriented individuals who are committed to making a positive impact in their communities. The ideal candidate is organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information. The Caseworker is responsible for managing client cases from initial intake and eligibility determination through the delivery of services. This role ensures that clients receive timely support and are guided through available programs and resources.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Application intake Data entry Maintain current files of social services available to area residents and provide information about how to obtain the services Arrange services with providers as required by case plans Receive and route telephone calls, respond to customer inquiries, and provide program information Collection of required information and documents Motivate applicants to fully participate in CCES programs Consistent follow-up with applicant or agency advocate for updates of application status Respond to questions and concerns in a compassionate, courteous and timely manner Distribute (by mail/in person) brochures, flyers, applications and other materials Make creative use of available information and resources to enlist the cooperation of agencies to provide further services for applicants (as needed) Conduct advanced research in a variety of topics Utilize and update contact database Interview clients to determine their needs and refers them appropriate community agencies and services Develop client assistance plans after a needs assessment oral interview and verifies their eligibility documents Acts as a liaison between clients and organizations and agencies Encourage clients to utilize and supplies them and staff with notices of community activities, resources, and services Assist clients complete written applications for social services Recruit clients for the program by identifying recruitment sources, developing publicity materials, and distributing and posting recruitment flyers Provides emergency assistance, crisis intervention, and referrals Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
Licenses:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and vehicle insurance. We screen all applicants and conduct background checks on final candidates to ensure compliance with our funding and regulatory requirements.
