Personal Injury Case Manager
Job Description
Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Case Manager with basic litigation knowledge and at least 1-2 years of experience in a legal or case management role. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a team player, and willing to learn and grow within our firm. Key Responsibilities As a Case Manager, you will assist attorneys and support staff in managing personal injury cases from intake through litigation.
Typical duties include:
Manage and track assigned cases, including documentation, deadlines, and calendaring. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear, empathetic communication. Coordinate and obtain medical records, bills, and supporting documents. Assist with drafting and preparing litigation support materials and communications. Communicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties as needed. Maintain organized and accurate case files, notes, and correspondence. Support attorneys in all stages of litigation as appropriate. Lien resolution/ subrogation Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in personal injury case management, litigation, legal support, subro/lien resolution or related role preferred. Basic knowledge of litigation processes and legal terminology. E-filing experience. Basic drafting experience such as pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas. Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication. Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to team success. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and willingness to learn legal case management software. Professional demeanor and positive attitude, comfortable interacting with clients, attorneys, and medical/legal professionals. Preferred (but not required) Experience with legal case management systems Prior experience in a law firm environment. Bilingual English/Spanish Benefits Opportunity for professional growth within the firm. Bonus structure upon successful completion of probationary period.
