The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of criminal justice systems, social work principles, and crisis management techniques. As a Reentry Coordinator, you will serve as a vital link between clients, law enforcement agencies, community organizations, and service providers to support clients' transition into society. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by promoting stability, independence, and positive community engagement. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, strengths, and barriers to successful reentry. Develop individualized reentry plans that include housing, employment, education, mental health services, and legal support. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients' motivation for change and personal growth. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to ensure compliance with legal requirements and facilitate communication. Manage crisis situations effectively by providing immediate support and connecting clients with appropriate resources. Maintain detailed case records and prepare reports documenting client progress and program outcomes. Facilitate interviews with clients to gather relevant information for case management purposes. Foster partnerships with community organizations to expand available resources and support networks for clients. Experience Proven experience in case management within social work, criminal justice, or related fields. Strong background in motivational interviewing, crisis management, and interviewing techniques. Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and the criminal justice system is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to develop tailored reentry plans that address complex needs of clients. Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience working with diverse populations in high-pressure environments is preferred. Knowledge of social work principles combined with effective communication skills enhances client engagement and success.
