Recovery Associate Job Summary We are seeking a passionate, motivated person to join our residential treatment center as a Recovery Associate. As part of our team, you assist individuals throughout the recovery process, helping them gain skills, access resources, and regain the confidence to succeed in society. Our ideal candidate has certification as a Recovery Associate coupled with lived experiences as a person engaged with mental health services or having survived severe addiction.

Job Responsibilities:

Hope in the Mountains Recovery Associate will assist those staff who have the primary responsibility for managing the needs of program participants. Assist in completing daily tasks as assigned in the Hope in the Mountains Residential Treatment Program Provide indirect care services to residents of Hope in the Mountains Residential Treatment Program.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED or willingness to achieve within one year of hire Demonstrate a passion for recovery If in personal recovery, will have a minimum of 1 year of sober/ clean time. Demonstrates an understanding of the impact of addiction on the family functioning. Ability to establish personal boundaries with program participants. Temporary peer support certification a plus but not required.

Supervisory Relationships and Responsibilities:

Recovery Associates will report directly to the Director of Residential Services.

Essential Functions:

Model basic self-care skills, household maintenance skills, and other life skills as needed for program participants. Addressing habilitation deficits of program participants. Assisting participants whose literacy skills are not sufficiently developed to perform some of the necessary "bookwork". Notify Hope in the Mountains Management Team of client issues that are adversely affecting treatment. Provide transportation, as driver, when needed. Accompany program participants to self-help meetings as needed.

$13.00 - $13.50 per hour
