Job Description
Case Managers needed in Alexandria, La.
Pay:
$17/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM-11:30 The Case Manager is responsible for managing an assigned caseload of Housing Choice Voucher participants in accordance with HUD regulations and agency policies. Duties include conducting annual and interim reexaminations, verifying household income and composition, calculating tenant rent and housing assistance payments, processing changes, maintaining accurate participant files, and communicating with participants and property owners.
The Case Manager also assists with participant briefings, inspections and leasing-related activities, responds to participant and landlord inquiries, maintains required documentation and deadlines, and ensures case files are complete and audit-ready.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Strong organizational, customer service, computer, and mathematical skills required. Experience with HUD Housing Choice Voucher programs, affordable housing, or case management is preferred but not required.
