Action Aide Part-Time Position Reports To:
Senior Resources Director Join Our Team and Make a Difference Faith in Action is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and community-minded individual to serve as a Faith in Action Aide . This position supports our mission of helping older adults remain safe, independent, and living in their own homes. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving seniors, enjoys building relationships, and is committed to enhancing the quality of life for those in our community. As a Faith in Action Aide, you will work directly with seniors and caregivers throughout Morrison County and lower Crow Wing County while helping strengthen programs designed to support healthy aging and caregiver well-being. Position Purpose The Faith in Action Aide supports the organization's mission by assisting seniors and caregivers through homemaking services, respite care, transportation, assessments, and program support. This role also contributes ideas for program improvement, promotes client satisfaction, and serves as a positive representative of Faith in Action within the community. Responsibilities Provide homemaking assistance and friendly respite services for seniors in need. Meet with clients in their homes throughout Morrison County and lower Crow Wing County to assess service and support needs. Complete training to deliver the PEARLS (Program to Encourage Active, Rewarding Lives) program. Complete training to provide Caregiver Coaching and assist with evidence-based educational programs. Provide transportation services for clients when volunteer drivers are unavailable. Assist with caregiver support group meetings as needed. Support care receiver assessments and follow-up activities. Assist with volunteer recruitment, training, and retention efforts. Promote Faith in Action programs through community presentations and outreach activities. Participate in fundraising and community engagement events. Complete required reporting and documentation. Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Resources Director or Board of Directors. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: Compassion, empathy, and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience managing schedules and balancing multiple responsibilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the service area. Hours Temporary Part-Time Position Approximately 10-15 hours per week Primarily scheduled during regular office hours. Occasional evening or weekend events may be required. $16.00 - $18.25 per hour
