Job Description
The primary responsibility of this position is to determine/re-determine eligibility for Medicaid as an Income Maintenance worker. Employees must explain Medicaid programs and benefits options and refer clients to other programs and services that could meet there needs as appropriate. Work is performed and supervised with an Income Maintenance Supervisor. Training is provided. The normal work schedule includes Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM. An additional expectation and requirement of this job may include but not limited to Disaster relief Duty if needed. An Associate Degree in a Human Services Field preferred; or graduation from High School and experience including interviewing and gathering data would be helpful in this position.
