Non-Exempt Job Summary:
The Case Aide II position at Towne Twin Village is a member of a multi-disciplinary team that works together to help the community reach its maximum potential. The Case Aide is responsible for assisting Towne Twin Village residents and guests with entry level case management and supportive services. Exercises no supervision.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Responds to referrals from different agencies and the general public, both over the phone and in person.
  • Coordinates and conducts special events where residents receive information to help them meet their housing and service plans.
  • Assists future and current residents with the leasing and re certification process.
  • Completes and submits reports in support of supportive service team and management.
  • Answers phones and provides information about programs and performs brief intakes as necessary.
  • Distributes supplies to residents as appropriate in alignment with resident care plan.
  • Provides case notes and service tracking information into case software system.
  • Utilizes Housing First safety compliance requirements to ensure Housing First principles of resident safety and needs are being adhered to.
  • May be required to assist residents in low-level crisis matters and situations
  • Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required and may be outside regular hours (evenings and weekends).
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency).
  • Three (3) years of experience with a social service agency or promoting a social service program is preferred.
  • Experience with housing and/or homelessness preferred.
  • Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment and may also require work outside in all types of weather conditions.
  • Occasional exposure to hazardous materials, bodily fluids, infectious diseases and unfavorable fumes, vapors and odors.
  • Ability to lift more than 10 pounds at a time.
  • Position requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing and/or pulling. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Willing to adopt and become knowledgeable of Housing First principles.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics skills.
  • Knowledge of available resources for referrals to clients.
  • Knowledge of basic interviewing skills.
  • Knowledge of counseling skills.
  • Skill in utilizing office equipment, a personal computer and associated software programs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to record information accurately.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners and the public.
  • Ability to perform all the physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodations.

Pay:
$20.09 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
