This is a relationship-driven, field-based role: the Coordinator identifies, contacts, meets with, and maintains ongoing relationships with pediatricians, hospitals, schools, courts, and community organizations so that adolescents who need services are consistently referred to Maya Therapy Center. Because the adolescent program is in its start-up phase, referral-generating activity will not initially occupy a full forty-hour week. During the ramp-up period the Coordinator also supports the program through direct service, case management support, and administrative work, as described under Program Support below. As program census grows, those supplemental duties step down and the position becomes full-time outreach. The primary service area is Maricopa County, with initial emphasis on Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, and south Phoenix.
