Full Job Description Summary:
FRH Consulting's mission is to strengthen housing stability, economic opportunity, and community well-being by connecting affordable housing residents with essential services and resources. Our Resident Services Coordinators build trusted relationships, assess resident needs, develop collaborative goals, coordinate referrals and social services, and work with community partners to provide housing support, job-readiness opportunities, and resident-focused community events.
Essential Responsibilities:
Conduct resident outreach, intake, needs assessments, and collaborative goal planning. Connect residents with food, healthcare, mental health, substance-use, employment, education, financial assistance, legal, youth, senior, and other supportive services. Provide short-term case management, follow up on referrals, and help residents overcome barriers to accessing services. Assist residents with rental assistance, utility assistance, housing concerns, relocation needs, and emergency resources. Plan and facilitate community events, workshops, and resident engagement activities. Coordinate job-readiness training and employment opportunities with workforce-development partners. Collaborate with property management, relocation consultants, resident leaders, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and other community partners. Conduct outreach through door-to-door engagement, telephone calls, email, flyers, community meetings, and other communication methods. Maintain confidential resident records, case notes, sign-in sheets, surveys, referrals, and program documentation. Complete data entry, monthly reports, outcome tracking, and grant-compliance requirements accurately and on time. Attend occasional evening and weekend events as required. Qualifications At least two years of experience in resident services, case management, affordable housing, community engagement, social services, or a related field. Experience serving diverse and underserved residents, including individuals and families facing multiple barriers. Knowledge of San Francisco community resources and Western Addition affordable or public housing communities strongly preferred. Strong relationship-building, communication, organization, time-management, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and complete work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. Proficiency with Google Workspace, email, data-entry systems, and electronic file management. Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, psychology, sociology, public health, or a related field. An associate degree or equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Physical and Scheduling Requirements Ability to travel between assigned properties and community locations. Ability to conduct on-site and door-to-door outreach and participate in community events. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds for program and event setup, with reasonable accommodation where required. Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities. 90-
Day Introductory Period:
New employees must complete a 90-day introductory training and performance-evaluation period. During this period, the employee will receive training, supervision, and feedback while FRH evaluates job knowledge, attendance, professional conduct, communication, documentation, and overall performance.
Pay:
$52,500.00 - $65,000.00 per year
