Full Job Description Overview:

This position will coordinate opportunities within the community to offer cancer prevention and screening programs based on evidence based national guidelines; will educate on cancer risk factors and prevention strategies; and will monitor the effectiveness of prevention, screening and outreach activities. This position will provide support to Rehab, Pharmacy, and Radiology in their community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, health education, community health, health science, health administration or psychology from an accredited institution preferred.

Required Experience:

1-2 years Community Outreach or Health Education experience

Preferred Experience:

3 years or more experience in community outreach or health education

Necessary Skills:

1. Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills 2. Proven track records of sales/relationship building and/or community outreach 3. Event coordination skills 4. Computer proficiency MS Office products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.) or ability to learn new software quickly Age of
