Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to serve as a vital link between our organization and the diverse communities we aim to serve. Responsibilities Design, implement, and evaluate community outreach programs tailored to meet the needs of diverse populations. Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local organizations, schools, and stakeholders to enhance program reach and effectiveness. Lead volunteer management efforts by recruiting, training, supervising, and recognizing community volunteers and interns. Conduct public speaking engagements at community events, health fairs, and workshops to promote program services and foster community trust. Manage social media platforms and marketing campaigns to increase visibility of outreach activities and community initiatives. Collect, analyze, and report data related to program participation, community feedback, and outreach impact for continuous improvement. Collaborate with team members on project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and administrative documentation. Provide addiction counseling or public health education as needed to support community wellness initiatives. Facilitate youth programs by teaching life skills or health education in various settings while ensuring cultural competence. Maintain certifications such as CPR and first aid; stay informed on best practices in social work, public health, and grassroots organizing. Experience Proven experience in community outreach or grassroots organizing within culturally diverse or underserved communities. Demonstrated success in volunteer management, supervising teams or programs with a focus on community engagement. Strong public speaking skills with experience presenting to varied audiences including youth, adults, or professionals. Background in program development, project management, or social work is highly desirable. Proficiency in social media management tools, data collection software, and basic marketing techniques. Experience working collaboratively with community partners across sectors such as health care, education, or social services. Bilingual abilities are a plus; candidates with experience teaching youth programs or providing addiction counseling will stand out. Excellent organizational skills coupled with strong written communication skills for reports and grant applications.
