Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Development Coordinator plays a vital role in igniting passion, purpose, and joy in our volunteer and donor community! This person is a dynamic and compassionate leader whooversees the entire volunteer journey, from onboarding to ongoing engagement and supportsoutreach to and special events for donors. This position is full-time at 40 hours per week. Occasional evenings or weekends will be required during special projects and events. The Development Coordinator reports to the Director of Development.
Responsibilities:

Volunteers Goal:
Develop and maintain a thriving community of volunteers who engage in our mission Design and deliver an onboarding experience that sets our volunteers up for success Recruit and mobilize a diverse army of volunteers through creative outreach and events Develop and lead training programs that empower volunteers to make a meaningful impact Foster a culture of appreciation, recognition, and support, ensuring our volunteers feel seen, heard, and valued Track volunteer engagement, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions Collaborate with our internal team to ensure seamless communication and maximum impact Build and maintain relationships with over 200 volunteers, providing personalized support and guidance Use exceptional organizational skills, communication and creativity to help execute special events and engagement tasks, including social media 2.
Donors and General Public Goal:
Help grow sustainable income to support the mission of One Eighty. Under the oversight of the Director of Development, help coordinate our recurring donor program (Pivot Partners) which includes: Inviting people to become Pivot Partners through personal invitation, phone calls, mail, email and social media Communicating regularly with Pivot Partners so they know the impact of their gift Sending regular Thank You's to Pivot Partners Sending pledge reminders Help plan and execute excellent events that raise funds for our mission while helping people to understand and engage more deeply in our mission.
Events may include:
Golf Outing, Benefit Concert, Service days for churches and organizations (4-6 per year) Graduations, Prayer nights, Pivot Lunches, Annual Dinner in collaboration with Director of Development, Christmas party for residents with community support, Other events as needed (i.e. support for Pizza Ranch Night, other requests) Provide engagement support as directed to include: Donor Thank You calls and acknowledgments Website design and maintenance Donor database management Donor research Social media support Communication with donors (monthly newsletter, campaign emails, welcome series, email receipts) Occasional speaking engagements to represent One Eighty Recruit volunteers and represent One Eighty at community events, resource fairs, churches and other potential partner gatherings Producing development reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; dashboards, event performance reports Maintaining detailed departmental supply inventory and tracking usage Oversee the receipt, organization and distribution of in-kind donations Success in this RoleThe Development Coordinator will be someone who: Loves building authentic relationships with people. Required/Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or related field preferred. One or more years of progressive experience in fundraising, development, or related field, including leadership or management experience. Experience working with donor databases/CRM systems preferred Experience engaging and equipping volunteers, boards, or stakeholders in fundraising efforts strongly preferred.
