Job Summary Lifeline Recovery Center is seeking a compassionate, organized, and community-minded Outreach Coordinator to serve as a key point of contact between our organization and the communities we serve. The Outreach Coordinator will build relationships with underserved and high-risk populations, coordinate community outreach initiatives, and increase access to recovery services through engagement, education, advocacy, and connection to care. This position works closely with internal staff, referral partners, community organizations, and other stakeholders to reduce stigma surrounding substance use and recovery and help individuals and families access appropriate services. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is comfortable engaging with diverse populations, presenting to groups, building community partnerships, and working independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement outreach strategies focused on underserved and high-risk populations, including Spanish-speaking and rural communities. Plan, promote, and participate in community events, presentations, health fairs, resource fairs, and other outreach activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, employers, faith-based organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders. Assist individuals and families with navigating the intake process and connecting to appropriate recovery and support services. Track outreach activities, contacts, referrals, and outcomes using internal reporting and data systems. Provide regular updates and reports to leadership and grant partners regarding outreach activities and outcomes. Create and/or support marketing materials, educational resources, and awareness campaigns designed to promote recovery and reduce stigma. Gather community feedback, identify service gaps and emerging trends, and make recommendations to leadership. Support coalition-building initiatives and serve as a liaison for new community partnerships and collaborative opportunities. Advocate for vulnerable populations and communicate with clients and community members in a culturally responsive and respectful manner. Protect client confidentiality, maintain appropriate professional boundaries, and uphold the dignity of every individual served. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience in outreach, case management, community engagement, human services, or a related field. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based data entry/reporting systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound professional judgment. High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards. Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in Spanish and English. Lived experience with recovery. Peer Support Certification. Knowledge of substance use recovery models, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction strategies. Experience working with rural, underserved, or high-risk populations. Work Environment & Schedule Fast-paced community-based work environment. Frequent local travel is required. Must be comfortable presenting to groups and representing Lifeline Recovery Center in the community. Some evening and weekend work may be required based on outreach and community event needs. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. Physical Requirements The employee must be able to regularly communicate and converse with others; sit and stand for extended periods; walk/traverse throughout the workplace and community; and occasionally kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms. $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
