You'll partner closely with our clinical, admissions, and operational teams to expand our referral network, educate providers on our services, and create seamless pathways for adolescents and families seeking behavioral healthcare. Success in this role comes from developing trusted relationships—not making sales calls. You'll become a clinical resource for referral partners while helping increase awareness of our Partial Hospitalization Program and related services. What You'll Do Build Clinical Partnerships
  • Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with: o Behavioral health clinicians o Hospitals and emergency departments o Primary care providers o Pediatricians o Schools and guidance departments o Community mental health organizations o Residential programs
  • Identify new referral opportunities throughout your assigned territory.
  • Become a trusted resource regarding adolescent behavioral health services and levels of care. Grow Our Referral Network
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to support census growth.
  • Regularly meet with referral partners through in-person visits, networking events, presentations, and educational meetings.
  • Represent ilearn wellness group at conferences, professional organizations, and community events.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with existing referral sources while continually developing new partnerships. Collaborate with Internal Teams
  • Partner closely with Admissions and Clinical Leadership to ensure an exceptional referral experience.
  • Help remove barriers to care by facilitating communication between referral partners, families, and our admissions team.
  • Participate in weekly outreach strategy meetings and market planning sessions. Market Intelligence
  • Monitor referral trends and competitive activity throughout the market.
  • Share insights regarding community needs, service gaps, and opportunities for program growth.
  • Maintain accurate outreach activity and referral partner information within our CRM. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Public Health, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: o Behavioral healthcare outreach o Provider relations o Healthcare business development o Clinical marketing o Community partnership development o Referral development
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting to clinicians, hospitals, and community organizations.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications We strongly encourage candidates with clinical backgrounds to apply.
Preferred licenses include:
  • LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, Psychiatric RN Candidates with direct behavioral health clinical experience who enjoy relationship-building are highly encouraged to apply. Experience with any of the following is highly preferred:

  • Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
  • Outpatient Behavioral Health

  • Contribute directly to the growth of one of Massachusetts' newest adolescent behavioral health programs.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$100,000

Position Summary:
    Compensation:
    W-2 position; $100,000
    • 120,000/year , based on experience.
    Location:
    Based out of our Newton, MA office when not traveling. This is a field-based role serving Greater Boston and Eastern Massachusetts.
      Travel:
      Approximately 75-100% local travel. Mileage reimbursement provided at the current IRS rate.
        Primary Focus:
        Build and strengthen referral relationships with hospitals, outpatient providers, pediatricians, schools, therapists, community mental health agencies, and other behavioral health partners.
          Preferred Licensure:
          LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or Psychiatric RN strongly preferred. Candidates with significant behavioral health outreach experience are also encouraged to apply.
            Experience:
            2+ years in behavioral health outreach, provider relations, healthcare business development, clinical marketing, admissions, or referral development preferred.
              Patient Population:
              Adolescents (ages 12-18) participating in our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).
                Schedule:
                Full-time, Monday-Friday. Occasional evening networking events or community meetings may be required.
