Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Outreach Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in fostering community engagement and building relationships with various stakeholders. The Outreach Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach programs, managing volunteers, and promoting our initiatives through effective marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to public health and social work. Duties Develop and implement outreach programs that align with organizational goals. Manage and supervise volunteers, ensuring they are effectively trained and engaged. Conduct public speaking engagements to promote awareness of our initiatives. Oversee project management tasks to ensure timely execution of outreach activities. Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of outreach efforts. Manage social media platforms to enhance community engagement and visibility. Collaborate with local organizations for fundraising efforts and community events. Provide addiction counseling support when necessary, contributing to public health initiatives. Assist in recruiting new volunteers and participants for various programs. Teach workshops or informational sessions related to outreach topics. Requirements Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Background in program development, project management, or marketing. Experience in data collection and analysis for program evaluation. Proficiency in social media management to promote outreach activities effectively. Knowledge of addiction counseling principles is a plus. Familiarity with public health issues and social work practices is preferred. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on community engagement. Experience in fundraising or administrative roles is advantageous.
