Our client partners with established nonprofit and charitable organizations to bring important causes directly into local communities through live events and face-to-face outreach. We're hiring an Event & Community Outreach Representative to join the Burnsville-area team. You'll represent nonprofit campaigns at high-traffic events and community locations, introduce people to the organizations we support, explain the impact of their programs and help interested individuals become donors and ongoing supporters. This is a full-time position combining events, community outreach, nonprofit fundraising, customer engagement and public-facing communications . Previous nonprofit or fundraising experience is not required. Paid training is provided. What You'll Actually Be Doing This is not a desk job. Your day will revolve around meeting people, starting conversations and creating meaningful interactions.
Responsibilities include:
Representing nonprofit and charitable organizations at live events and community outreach locations Engaging members of the public face-to-face Creating a welcoming and professional event experience Learning the mission, programs and impact of each organization represented Explaining nonprofit initiatives in a clear and engaging way Sharing impact stories and campaign information Asking questions and discovering which causes resonate with different individuals Building genuine relationships with prospective supporters Increasing public awareness for nonprofit partners Educating people on how donations support programs and communities Discussing opportunities to support represented organizations Assisting interested individuals through donor enrollment Maintaining accurate donor and campaign information Working toward individual and team fundraising goals Supporting event setup and campaign materials Participating in ongoing communication, fundraising and leadership training Fundraising Is Really About Connection. People don't support organizations simply because someone asks them for money. They support organizations because they understand why the work matters . Your role is to create that connection. Compensation$900-$1,200 Per Week Weekly Pay | Full-Time | W2 | Paid Training Performance-based incentives may be available according to the applicable compensation structure.
