Job Description

Header Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Outreach Coordinator to lead community engagement initiatives that foster meaningful connections and promote our organization's mission. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement outreach strategies, build strong partnerships, and empower diverse communities. As an Outreach Coordinator, you will play a vital role in expanding our reach, enhancing program visibility, and ensuring that underserved populations have access to vital resources and support. Your energy, leadership, and dedication will drive impactful community programs and create lasting positive change. Responsibilities Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive outreach strategies to engage culturally diverse communities and underserved populations. Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, local organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. Lead grassroots community organizing efforts to promote awareness of health initiatives, social services, or youth programs. Manage volunteer programs by recruiting, training, supervising, and recognizing volunteers to support outreach activities. Coordinate public speaking engagements at community events, workshops, and seminars to educate and motivate audiences. Oversee social media management and marketing campaigns to increase visibility of programs and events across digital platforms. Collect data on outreach activities to evaluate effectiveness and inform future planning; prepare reports for internal review. Requirements Proven experience in community outreach, grassroots organizing, or public health initiatives working with culturally diverse or underserved communities. Strong skills in volunteer management, supervising teams, and program development. Excellent public speaking abilities with experience engaging audiences of varied backgrounds. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously. Proficiency in social media management tools, marketing strategies, data collection methods, and technical platforms. Background in addiction counseling, social work, or public health is highly desirable. Bilingual skills are a plus; fluency in additional languages enhances community engagement efforts. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; excellent written communication skills for reports and promotional materials. Ability to work collaboratively with community partners while demonstrating leadership in team settings. Pay:
$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
