Requirements include:

Bachelor's degree in health education, social work, or related field, one (1) year experience in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of outreach activities in a public health setting or closely related field. Applicants should demonstrate skills necessary for the role including dependability, attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work independently, and prioritize job duties. Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the state of residency. Job Duties include but are not limited to: Coordinate and conduct daily overdose prevention community outreach activities with multiple community partners. Establish and maintain working relationships with various stakeholders, communities, and agencies. Report overdose prevention outreach activities and outcomes to all key stakeholders as defined. Serve as a liaison between Hamilton County Public Health and various communities, agencies and/or businesses. Collaborate with diverse community partners to reduce barriers to accessing resources and increase awareness of the risks and signs of opioid overdose. Track outreach data including location, successes, number of supplies given out, and any other pertinent information needed and report out to management. Organize, staff, and participate in community events, including, but not limited to, some weekends and after-hours events. Responsible for designing and/or distributing flyers, brochures, etc. pertaining to outreach and overdose prevention. Schedule, organize and lead the quarterly Community Health Subcommittee meeting. Record detailed meeting minutes, track member attendance, and maintain committee records. Establish and maintain Fentanyl test strips partnerships with diverse communities and businesses. Participate in comprehensive cross-training opportunities including but not limited to Naloxone distribution, Fentanyl test strip partnerships, and Overdose Fatality Review work. Other duties as assigned.
