Job Description

Commonwealth Partners is hiring a full-time Community Outreach Associate to support nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations throughout the Nashville area. As a Community Outreach Associate, you'll meet customers at community events and outreach campaigns, introduce meaningful nonprofit initiatives, and help customers understand how they can get involved through awareness and fundraising support. Responsibilities of the Community Outreach Associate Connect with customers at community events, outreach campaigns, and public engagement initiatives. Introduce nonprofit missions, programs, and fundraising goals to customers in a clear and engaging way. Answer questions and help customers understand the impact of supporting charitable programs. Build positive relationships with customers through professional, face-to-face conversations. Encourage community involvement and fundraising support based on each person's interests. Support campaign activities while creating a welcoming experience for customers. Collaborate with fellow Community Outreach Associate team members to achieve outreach and fundraising goals. Continue developing communication and nonprofit outreach skills as a Community Outreach Associate. Qualifications of the Community Outreach Associate Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Customer service, hospitality, retail, events, fundraising, or outreach experience is helpful but not required. Comfortable speaking with customers in community-based settings. Positive, dependable, and coachable. Interested in growing as a Community Outreach Associate while helping customers connect with meaningful causes.
