Job Description
Outreach Coordinator needed for a workforce development program operating throughout the Greater Memphis Shelby County area, including Fayette, Lauderdale, Shelby, and Tipton counties. The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for increasing awareness, accessibility, and utilization of workforce services among job seekers, employers, and community partners within Greater Memphis workforce area. Develop and implement targeted outreach plans to promote AJC services Represent the One-Stop System at job fairs, community events, and workforce development forums. Assist in developing outreach materials, including brochures, presentations, social media content, and digital communications. Track outreach activities, engagement metrics, and referral outcomes. Provide regular reports to the One Stop Coordinator on outreach effectiveness and community impact. Support the One Stop Coordinator in promoting system-wide initiatives and goals. Participate in planning meetings, partner convenings, and strategic discussions. Conducts orientations, workshops, and informational sessions related to American Job Center programs, services, and workforce opportunities. We offer health benefits and a 401k plan with contribution. Travel is required throughout the Greater Memphis area with mileage reimbursement. BA/BS degree preferred.
